I have been using this product for years now.  I just removed it with the intent of getting the latest version to resolve an issue only to find it is not on Google Play.  Reason being that I am in Canada, and the product is no longer supported here. I tried to download AVAREX, same thing.

Too bad.  I really enjoyed using it, and appreciate all the effort that went into making it.  I have avoided Foreflight, as I am not a fan of Apple or Boeing , but I may be forced into going that route.

Once again, thanks to the Apps4Av team for such a great effort.

Out of curiosity, why is it no longer supported in Canada?  Is this another tariff thing?

If you can sideload, everything is available on the share at https://www.apps4av.org/share/

I dont even have google apps loaded, so no Google Store.

I just download, 'open' the file and it installs.  Depends on your vendor customization tho probably...

It is a little difficult to support the software in a country you don't have access to the charts.  I believe the charts are available but the cost for us to have access to them and distribute them isn't in the cards.  In addition the US charts used to have a large amount of Canadian airspace depicted along the border, that ended a few years ago.

If you still feel that Avare or AvareX is useful to you, then you can always do a manual install of the software, you need to download it from https://mamba.dreamhosters.com/share/  These are the exact same images available on the Google Playstore including the Google signature.  One thing to be careful of is if you install from the website you cannot install the Playstore version over it.
