I'm running AvareX v0.112+112 on a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite with Android
14. Since starting to use AvareX a few months ago I've had problems with
the plates loading slowly and sometimes at least appearing to lock up.
Switching to the plates page pretty much invariably starts off with "No
plates available" - briefly when starting to use the app but most times,
after flying for a while, it'll take 10 or more seconds - every time.
That's especially true for toggling between plates and between plates and
the map. Sometimes the app seems to lock up (black screen - I think with a
faint green circle going around in most cases). These tend to take a LONG
time to resolve and I've tried rebooting on occasion. That SEEMS to
shorten up the transitions for a while but it gets back to the same issue
in a while.
 
I've tried deleting the app and reloading (with several restarts in
between) with no real difference. This is the newest of three similar tabs
and it seems similar on the other two as well (an older Samsung plus an
ONN).
 
This is completely different from my experience on the regular Avare. Any
suggestions?

Is there a way an "OBS" function could be added?
 
Basically, OBS allows any waypoint to be turned into a "virtual VOR" and
the OBS allows the user to select the bearing to fly to/from the point. It
creates an infinite magenta line to be intercepted for that course.
 
An example of its use could be flying the Mesa One departure at KFFZ, where
one needs to intercept the 003 radial for TFD rather than flying directly
to the point.

On map screen would be the best. Again, imagine you're at KFFZ and are
told to do the Mesa One Departure, which requires tracking the 003 radial.
Having it on plates doesn't seem like it'd be a big help, honestly.

AvareX is showing traffic labeled with it's +/- pressure altitude (not +/-
relative to my pressure altitude). This is not right because if I fly at
2500' and I see converging traffic labeled +/-2500', that means the
traffic is at my altitude, not 2500 above/below me. Contrary, when the
traffic is labeled +/-500' it warns me for collision, even though it's
actual altitude is 500' pressure altitude.
