I can NOT get the AVARE file browser to locate the SD card, three times now I thought it was the SD card but always ended up in my internal storage.
What I see with the phones file browser: Local storage > Device Storage > Android > data > com.ds.avare
Where it should be is: Local storage > SD card > Android > data > com.ds.avare
This last time I moved com.ds.avare to the SD card using the file manager but that failed since the app does not know how to find the SD card, you don't allow entering paths.

I have 32GB of Phone/internal storage and 128GB of SD card, kind of want to use some of that SD card memory space. For now I've given up and installed all into the default location, works fine, next is the ADS-B integration.

Hi.
In the latest models / OSs it is difficult / next to impossible to install in the External SD card.
I would suggest that you install in your Internal storage, which can get you access to your Avare data, but that may not be the default location. You can post here your Directory Tree and I can tell you if you are in the proper Storage. TV

From my workstation desktop with the phone connected using USB and MTP turned on (Verizon hide this)
This PC\SAMSUNG-SM-N915V\Phone\Android\data\com.ds.avare\files - no files listed This is equal to your external folder path: /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.ds.avare/files

This PC\SAMSUNG-SM-N915V\Card\Android\data\com.ds.avare\files - no files here - I created this by moving the database.zip tree here but the app could not find it and I couldn't change where the app is looking
Have to say this method does not work, files not found yet are there.

Using the File browser on the phone I find:
Local storage > Device storage > Android > data > com.ds.avare > files and there be files!
I followed the direction and added /sdcard/Android/data/avare/files to my sd card then selected 'try using SD card folder', selected file and let them download the results ended up:
Local storage > Device storage > Android > data > com.ds.avare > files

This is all very confusing, the issue of not being able to see the files from my PC is probably another Verizon way of protecting me from myself.

Hi.
Can you see the files using your Tablet / Device My file?
If yes can you post a pic of it. Look at my pic, where mine is, yours should be in sdcard0, not extSdCard. TV
