Hi KB
Go to Preferences and Storage and Download then click on chart storage folder to get the location and see all your tracks in there.

Thanks, but I can't find that folder. Android's file structure is unclear, at best. Definitely not the fault of your wonderful application, but I was hoping someone more experienced with Android could help me find it. I've now turned on the option to email the track file when closed, but I'm trying to locate a track from yesterday. Thank you!

Download "Total Commander". It's my favorite file manager.Total Commander :https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ghisler.android.TotalCommander
Open total commander and tap on "file system root". Then tap the menu ellipses (three dots) and choose search. Enter *avare* and search. You'll see many com.ds.avare locations. They are the same with the exception of the pkg path. You'll probably see sdcard.com.ds.avare, mnt/sdcard.com.ds.avare, etc.
Tap the most recently modified folder and it will probably be what you're looking for.

Total Commander doesn't check the Internet when a connection becomes available. It only has that permission because it allows you to install plug-ins from within the app. Adding convenience. They don't make you go back to the play store to add functionality to the app. There are many points of view to this approach, all valid. You'll have to pick the one that suits you. I've been using total commander for years and I've had excellent battery life with it (doesn't prevent the phone from sleeping).
You could use "Greenify" to prevent apps from running in the background which helps with battery life...
Also, you could use most file managers to accomplish the steps I outlined. I prefer Total Commander because it suits my needs and I love the double window view (rotate your phone to see what I'm talking about).
