Other than Stratux, is there a good ADS-B receiver available for Avare on Android?
If this has been discussed please provide a link.
Thanks.

I'll jump in that AFAIK, there is no difference.
Its a network interface, using a GDL-90 standard, and there's not much more anything can add to that.
I was fine with my stratux and it was cheap to build.  The partnership I just joined has a Stratus 3 and I have to admit I like not having to deal with the power supply issues, whether a battery with limited life, or a cord hanging to a panel socket, but there is no difference from the Avare standpoint.  Again, AFAIK, none of the ADSB devices can be used for primary nav, so quite quickly it just becomes a matter of personal preference and not which is best...  Everyone has different priorities.

I use a Stratux. Easy to assemble from the kit or buy it assembled. Buy the longer antennas. Add the micro USB and power battery to the order.

I tried AvareX with the Levil Aviation Astro+ last week with good results. It’s more expensive than a Stratux but also has some nice features like SD card flight logging.

A RTL-SDR dongle with an OTG adapter is all you need. If you use something like this, you can also charge your Android device while in use.
