Hello all. I am new to AvareX and am working thru the learning curve, and I have come up with a couple of ideas.
Close AvareX completely and then restart. Open the Plan tab. You are greeted with a page that shows a blank flight plan with an Actions button at the bottom (along with other things). Tap the actions button and you are now on the Load & Save page.
Idea 1: Rename the options at the bottom to:
Load Create & Save Brief & File Manage Transfer (last 3 remained unchanged)
Idea 2: On the new "Load" page, only the saved plans are shown. The three dot menu for each individual saved flight plan will have 4 options - Load, Load Reversed, Rename, and Delete (note new option to be able to rename a currently saved plan). Provide for a new function - drag and drop - to reorder the saved flight plans as desired.
Idea 3: On the new "Create & Save" page, the "Plan Name, Save bar" (currently on the Load & Save page) will now be at the top. Change the title of the bar to "Save Active Flight Plan". "New Plan Name" should prefill when the typing box is tapped, but "New Plan Name" should be highlighted so that one merely starts typing the desired name that the active plan will be saved under. The "Save" button does not change. The existing "Route" box currently retains previous information. This previous info should highlight when tapping the typing box so that one merely starts typing the new route.
Idea 4: There is an app navigation arrow at the top left of the page that is currently labeled "Plan Actions". This arrow actually takes us back to the Active Flight Plan, so rename the arrow "Active Flight Plan".
Idea 5: Now, back to the Active Flight Plan page. Create a new button (labeled "Clear Active Flight Plan") that will clear this plan page quickly and easily without having to swipe away each individual waypoint.
My goal with these changes is to reorganize functions into a more logical grouping and provide more housekeeping functions.
Thank you for considering, Alan
