API with OAuth2 authentication

Hi, do we have an ETA of when it will come out the version of the API using OAuth2?

It's really useless now that many other APIs went for OAuth2, If you try to put your application in marketplace (i.e. My app uses Calendar API v3 with OAuth2, how can I setup my App in Marketplace if the API marketplace uses only OAuth1? really inconsistent).

Please If any one knows an Official word from Google or someone can answer me this officially would be great.

(it does not have to be an exact date, but aprox. at least)

I just got a response from a support request that I put in a few weeks ago:

We are building OAuth 2.0 support for the marketplace. We plan to open this up for all ISV partners by the end of this Quarter or early next quarter at the latest.
