I have prepared an outline design for significantly enhancing the Google Maps and/or the Waze application. The development can be applied equally to one or the other App. After much research, I am satisfied the the development is unique across the market and likely to be highly profitable in revenue raising.
The development has been designed a ' bolt on' in concept enhancing current functionality in these Apps. In design, the functionality conforms to and reflects the underlying design principles and focus towards Crowdsourcing and Places.
As I regard the development as significant and revenue enhancing in a new way, I am uncertain how to take this forward protecting my design copyright.
I can only retain design ownership if I can demonstrate uniqueness, creativity and originality which I will be able to demonstrate quite easily.
I would be grateful for any advice from the Google Developers Community as to how I might take this forward whilst protecting my design.
My favoured option at this time would be to meet Google representatives under a protected non disclosure agreement it only and obviously if I could demonstrate the uniqueness in the design.
