Google have announced the removal of the black bar (including the more menu) in October for corporate accounts.  What icons will be used for 3rd party apps, such as we provide.  Are we able to control them?  I don't see any update to developer documentation to cover this...

Given that the black bar removal has rolled out to at least some domains now, can we get some information on this please? I can't see anything about icons in https://developers.google.com/google-apps/marketplace/manifest (it was last updated in March), and I can't think of any place more likely to be relevant.

We have quite a number of both Marketplace Apps and also Enterprise Intranet links as "more" links installed. There is now no distinction between any of them. This navigation is compounded by the truncation of the Application names in the grid view.

Currently I'm fielding calls and emails about missing links from nigh on my entire company.

So now its gone live we see that users need to click the Launcher icon and then click More.  Users then need to scroll down - don't click Even More which takes the user to a different UI.  All the icons are currently the same and have truncated text until you mouse over the text which then expands.  I think it would be ideal if users could re-order the icons so they can drag the most important ones onto the initial launcher screen and relegate others to the lower tabs.   Also the icons would ideally be loaded from the ones used in the Google Apps Marketplace listings or allow custom icons to be loaded.

The Google Apps Marketplace developer documentation definitely needs an update...
