Where does sharefire store its files (feeds, preferences, ...) - I
need to transfer the information between 2 pc's.

thanks

Feeds are stored in a database called apprise_1.0.db, your preferences
are stored in a _prefs.obj. The location is different on Windows, Mac,
and Linux.
On Mac, it's: ~/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.apprise.<id>/Local
Store/
On Windows, it's: C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application
Data\com.adobe.apprise.<id>\Local Store\

You could also export and import your feeds in ShareFire, under
Settings -> Import or Export Feeds.

Hope this helps.

if I use import/export, will the system I'm importing to have all the
information
already stored in the old PC (like checked items, for example)?

thanks

Unfortunately no; the XML file it exports only contains information
about the feeds, not the posts or smart folders. You can try
overwriting the database on the new computer with a copy from the old
one. I believe that should work. You may have more trouble copying
over the _prefs.obj. Some of the values in there are encrypted, and
the two computers won't have the same keys.
