Hi all,

I'm working on adding a new feature to Sharefire, where you can use
Google Reader as a central resourse for your feeds.
My idea is to use Google Reader to add feeds to but access them
through Sharefire, so you can see the same feeds on your home computer
as your work one.

I was thinking of adding a new section to the settings panel where you
can set to import your feeds from Google Reader, and when you add a
new feed that is also added to Google Reader. Of course if you don't
set up the connection to Google Reader then Sharefire works as it does
now.

So you get all the great features of Sharefire with the centralised
repository for your feeds.

I'm planning to create a prototype RSS reader which loads feeds from
and sends feeds to Google Reader. Then I can use this to add to
Sharefire.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Stephen

Stephen,

I think this is an excellent feature!  In fact, this is probably our #1 most requested addition to ShareFire.  Please let me know when you have it working.

Thanks,
Christian
