Hi Guys,

I downloaded Apprise code from http://apprise.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/
but its not compiling :-(
The problem is that com.aol.api is not a part of the source and I'm
getting compiler errors around it. Apprise is open source I believe.
Can I please get that code and run Apprise on my machine?

Regards,
Shubhra

Hi Shubhra,

That is indeed the right source for Apprise, but you'll need to
download the source code (or libraries) for Apprise's dependencies.
Wimas3 is one of them, and not having that included in your project is
causing you to see that error. If you go to the main Google code page
for the project (http://code.google.com/p/apprise/) you'll see links
to the dependencies on the right side. Download their source and
configure your compiler (if you're using Flex Builder, go to the
project properties and add them in "Flex Build Path").

There have been some other threads in this group page on compiling
Apprise.. If you encounter more problems, those might help too.

Hope this helps,
-Dan
