Sonic Jump Fever is an energy based game. Each time the player plays through a round, one bar of energy is used up. The player can play up to 5 times in a row before having to wait for their energy to refill. It takes 25 minutes to fill one bar of energy which allows the player to jump again.
By performing different tasks, each Booster extends the score in a positive way. While Gold Totem, Super Hoop and Animal Doubler can be bought with Rings, Power-Up Doubler, Quick Fever, Ring Streak and Super Time Extend can only be purchased with Red Star Rings. All kinds of Boosters, however, are obtainable in the Daily Spin and the Daily Reward. Up to three boosters may be equipped before a jump and each booster's effect lasts until the end of the jump.
Sonic Jump Fever is a platformer that's virtually identical to the previous Sonic Jump game. In it, players jump from one platform to another making sure not to fall into the void or land on any bad guys.
The gameplay is similar to that of the previous Sonic Jump title. The objective of the game is to navigate a vertical course as high as possible.[3] The player tilts their device to move the character left and right, and can tap the screen to perform a double jump. Hitting opponents from below destroys them and scores the player points. Unlike the original Sonic Jump, Fever focuses on competitive multiplayer. The game contains a leaderboard displayed before each round showing players the high scores of other players. These leaderboard scores reset twice a week to encourage competitive play.[3][4]
Sonic Jump Fever received an aggregated review score of 54 on Metacritic, indicating "mixed or average reviews".[5] Carter Dotson of Gamezebo gave the game a positive review, praising the game having a faster structure than Sonic Jump and the game's monetization, saying "the game is surprisingly good about the money it encourages players to spend" and that it can be played cheaply, while criticizing the game's repetitiveness though noting that the game was good to play in short periods, and complaining that the playable character can sometimes blend into the background.[6] Pocket Gamer's Harry Slater gave a negative review, saying that the game was not as fun as the original game, and that any part of the game that was not the jumping was unnecessary.[7] Shaun Musgrave of TouchArcade was negative, complaining about the game's advertisements and the time it takes for the stage to change, noting that the game was worse than Sonic Jump, though praising the game's fever mechanic, graphics, and the speed of its gameplay.[8]
Much like its predecessor, Sonic Jump Fever involves vertically jumping through levels. The player can control their character by tilting the device. By tapping the touchscreen, their character is able to perform a Double Jump. The more the player progresses, the more difficult the platforms will start to become. Items increase along the way as well as obstacles when the player progresses. The player must also avoid touching the bottom of the screen. Although it will not result in instant death, time will be lost in the process.
I have been searching for people with the same problem but haven't found anything.I can not find the play store page for sonic jump fever by the normal way. The game is still in the Sega page and when I pressed the free download button it redirected me to the play store page but when I downloaded it, the game didn't have music.
Parents need to know that Sonic Jump Fever is a slightly new take on the endless-jumper games that started with Doodle Jump. The controls this time around aren't as simple as in Sonic Jump, so younger kids may have a harder time. Also, the game provides many opportunities to make in-app purchases. Technically it's possible to play without making them, but it makes the game more difficult.
Kids tilt the device to guide iconic characters from the Sonic games as they jump higher and higher toward a level in a limited period of time. Along the way, they'll collect power-ups and avoid obstacles to attempt to accelerate their climb and earn extra time. Tapping the screen lets the character jump higher, which can be valuable when he or she seems likely to miss a platform.
Thi is essentially the Bejweled Blitz take on Sonic Jump. Where the previous game used pre-generated levels each time, Fever is all about randomly-generated levels where the goal is to collect a lot of points and to last for as long as possible. This is done by constantly bouncing upwards, a la Doodle Jump, with the ability to do a double-jump in mid-air.
To be honest, despite his recent troubles, we're always down for more Sonic. In fact, the recent port of his console game Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed to iPad resulted in an excellent kart racer that's the equal of the Mario entries. Sonic Jump Fever is based on Sonic Jump, first released to mobile devices in 2005, then later to smartphones in 2012. In the new release, players compete for high scores in vertical jumping challenges while playing as Sonic, Knuckles, and other characters from the Sonic universe.
If the character touches the bottom of the screen without a solid surface, it dies and is launched again. Scoring points by collecting rings, defeating enemies and forming combos fills up a fever meter. When full, it launches a brief, separate section where the character flies through the air and can collect a large amount of rings. Levels also contain many power-ups such as shields. The end of each run shows the tally for the total points, the amount of rings collected (the basic currency) and red star rings as the premium currency. Both types of rings can be used to buy boosters that are bought and equipped before starting a new run. Examples of boosters are Animal Doubler, Gold Totem (score more points by hitting these), Power-Up Doubles, Quick Fever, Ring Streak, Super Hoop (large height boost) and Super Time Extend. The premium currency is used to unlock many additional characters next to Sonic such as Amy, Blaze, Knuckles, Shadow, Silver and Tails. They each have different abilities and multiple statistics that can be upgraded more than once, also influencing the length of the fever mode.
