Periodic stuttering

The game is a side scrolling runner game and everything loads fine. However, there is periodic stuttering at uniform intervals. Probably every 2 secs or so. At first I thought there may have been something wrong with my code but the weird thing is that if I suspend the app and open it back up, the stuttering is gone and doesn't come back. The stuttering only happens when the app is freshly started. If i close the app completely and open it again, the stutter is back. Any ideas as to why this could be happening?

I also have the same problem, please also note that we are declaring admob at the start of the app.

Also Tried shifting it to the game CCScene and yet the problem continues, it goes away after you suspend the app and bring it back which makes me think its mostly a bug in implementation of Admob extension of apportable.

Hi C8 and Digital Poke,

Since you posted we have released version 1.1.12 of our SDK, which may resolves some of the issues you are currently encountering specifically relating to Admob. If you find that compiling with 1.1.12 still throws up issues, I would like to encourage you to post on our forums under the Cocos2D category with sample code that demonstrates the issue at hand. The response times are generally fast and we frequently look to the forums to find issues that need to be resolved in future releases.  Thanks for using Apportable!
