Hi All,

I have a game that I'm building with Apportable and I'm finding that on Android devices with on-screen navigation bars that it consumes the first few screen touches in order to display the hidden navigation bar.

What I'm trying to figure out is if there is a way to control how the navigation bar is displayed so that there's no interference with the initial interaction by the user on the screen.

Ideally I'd like to be able to have complete control of toggling the visibility of the navigation bar, but I would settle for having the navigation bar rendered in 'low profile' mode.  Does anyone have any ideas?

Cheers,
JP

Hi JP,

You may have better luck looking at the previous threads or posting your own question in the Android Customizations category of the forums.  There's already been some discussion there about the Android menu bar and various ways to interact with it.  The email list is deprecated now and there's not much traffic on it.  Good luck!

Thanks,

Christina

Thanks Christina.  I'll do just that.
