Just got in, still dusty, 49 unread e-mails.....
Temple burn was amazing-- burned much better than stood :)
I've got some women's plastic dark blue sunglasses and light green cooler
(Il'ya?) and a bunch of rebars.
Also picked up a bunch of trash after y'all (including cig buds!!! x-(( ),
please be more careful next time. I'm keeping the gray tarp that i found as
reward :))
Rita& Sereja had to clean out the burn barrel that was left behind and was
filled with disgusting toxic crap, so lets not burn anything that's not
paper or wood in the future..
thank you all, best apocalypse ever

Got home a couple of hours ago - around one in the morning :-) There
was a huge line out, rewarding indian tacos and Reno buffet, traffic
on 80, and reroute via 5. All done, clean, much needed sleep ahead :-)

+1 to Olchik's Temple burn reaction (awesome!!!) and lots of cigarette
butts (yaiks, and it had to be non-smokers me and Olchik who picked
them up)

Hey Guys, just returned the truck. There was a little bit of dust, and the
guy at the counter was a total dick and is going to charge us $300 for
detailing the truck.
Before you start typing a response read the whole email:
The total price for the car is 1791.90, which includes Tax.
Here is the breakdown:
15' Parcel van gas - $289.90
$0.69/mile * 884 miles - $609.96
Insurance - $409.00
Cost recovery fee - $30.00
Energy Recovery Fee - $1.30
Sales Tax - $151.74
Truck Cleaning - $300.00
---------------------------------
Total $1791.90
There is also an $82.00 that occurred yesterday due to illegally parking the
truck. This brings the total cost to $1791.90 + $80.00 = $1871.00.
Yes, budget charged us an arm and a leg. I'm personally unhappy with the
$300 truck cleaning charge since we cleaned that truck inside and out and
they are trying to overcharge us $300 for a little bit of dust residue on
the inside. Therefore I'm going to do the work of contacting the corporate
budget office and complain about this charge. As evidence, Illiya and I took
pictures of the inside of the truck. This is where I need your help since
this is what I'm going to tell the corporate office:
"Reverse the charge or we are going to file a complaint with the Better
Business Bureau and we are going to have 30 people leave negative yelp
reviews."
I think this is fair, since when we arrived to pick up the truck on Saturday
they sprung an additional addendum to the contract which stated that we were
liable for an additional $1000 at the time of picking up the vehicle. If
they had told us this on the phone we would have used a u-haul vehicle. But
but by the time that we found out about this, they were 30 mins from closing
their doors and we had no other alternative.
So I'm going to call the corporate office now and talk to them about this. I
hope that everyone reading this email is willing to yelp bomb the company if
the company decides to gouge us.

Before this yelp witch burning begins... One needs to remember that if a
yelp company profile is all of a sudden bombarded by negative reviews, Yelp
itself might consider it negative pr campaign spam, or the company can lodge
a complaint and thus remove all the negative reviews within that time frame.
In this endeavor fellow Apopians timing is KEY!!!!

I personally have over 15 yelp accounts, they are fucked.
We are going to take turns in this as we don't want yelp algorithm to mark
reviews as fake. I have a whole program on this, let me know how the
conversation goes. We going to close them down...
Please excuse the brevity of this message sent from my wireless device.

Topic: Photos From the BurnTim Shulepov <timsh...@gmail.com> Sep 06 11:00PM -0700 ^
Hey everyone,
does anyone has an account on fotki.ru or flickr or anything of that sort? I
think it would be best to post photos on a website that requires an
authorization to view them rather than Facebook, to avoid situations like
that photo of Marianna (as fun as it was to see that on Facebook, I strongly
believe that it's not the place for that kind of stuff, Facebook's privacy
is a joke).
Obviously, we could post all the decent photos on Facebook and put all the
entertaining ones on a private account, but I don't see a point of sorting
through them and figuring out which ones belong where, so I think it's just
easier to post them all on a photo portal.
Anyway, who has an account on a photo sharing portal that has a password
authorization?
margarita grabarova <margarita...@gmail.com> Sep 06 11:54PM -0700 ^
yeap i agree, we need a place to load our photos that can have a privacy
setting. I wonder if we can do that on the website

It's actually pretty straighforward to secure them on facebook , just select
which people you want to view them.
Just saying.
