I think part of communication between users of a certain application or
OS is also exchange of ideas about how to solve certain problems or
first discover bugs. If this forum grows, it might be helpful to
subdivide it into topics like: suggestions, tips, faq, how-to's, etc.
and make it more readable?

unfortunately it's not possible to do this in Google Groups. I had a
PHPBB forum running for a while, but the only posts where spam, so
after six months I abandoned it for this format. The advantage of
Google Groups is that as in Gmail, categories become unnecessary due to
the powerfull search engine.
