Dear Esteemed Vaishnavas and Friends,
Jai Srila Prabhupada! May he continue to shower his blessings upon you all.
We are happy to announce that ISKCON of Silicon Valley, now located at our beautiful new temple in Mountain View, California, will be having a Grand Opening event on the weekend of July 6-7.
Devamrita Swami and Giriraj Swami plan on attending, and we are awaiting confirmation that other senior devotees will also attend.
There will be lots of festive activities for the children, including a Ratha Yatra parade and special entertainment programs. On Sunday, which is Srila Bhaktivinode's Disappearance Day, we will announce the results of one of ISV's biggest book distribution marathons of the year. Sunday will also be billed as a day of Sacred Chants, which we hope will attract many who are attracted to the kirtan movement sweeping the US.
There will, of course, be plenty of opportunity for service. Please contact me if you would like to take advantage of this auspicious occasion to perform some seva.
