Important changes to ADI events!

Hello ADI!

There are a couple important changes and updates to ADI events.

Also, just to clarify to everyone new to ADI. The CS Lounge is in the CS building. You access the CS building through Mudd. Once you walk through the main Mudd doors and hit the elevators, you will see large industrial fridge like doors to your right. Those are the doors to the CS building. Once you enter the CS building, there will be signs leading you to the CS lounge. ADI will also have some posted by the elevators on the 4th floor in case you get lost tonight or Friday. 

1. Resources Workshop takes place 9-10pm (NOT 6-8pm)

Tuesday, 9/13 from 9-10pm in the CS Lounge

New to Columbia? Come and learn about helpful computing resources available at Columbia, including links to free software and tips for configuring printers on your computer.

2. ADI Open House takes place in the CS Lounge (NOT the 12th floor of Mudd)

Friday 9//16 from 6-8pm in the CS Lounge

Interested in tech? Join the Application Development Initiative for pizza and drinks as well as good company, and a chance to learn more about tech in New York and at Columbia.

3. Maker Faire (Leaving from 116 gates at 10am and at 11am)

Saturday 9/17 from 10am to 7pm and Sunday from 10am to 6pm in the New York Hall of Science

The World Maker Faire NYC was described as carnival sideshow meets science fair, with robots, engineers, rockets, computer geekery and body paint. It's a cool event you might want to check out this weekend. We're leaving in two shifts from the 116th street gates. The first group will leave at 10am and the second group will leave at 11am.
