Hello ADI,

Hope everyone enjoyed their fall break! We’ve got a short and sweet week coming up so make sure to join us at the career fair! RSVP here. Even if you’re not looking for a job, it's a good chance to check out some of the major players in the New York City tech scene, and to meet great devs from great companies.

Follow us on Twitter and like our page on Facebook to get the most out of ADI.  Relevant to the career fair: we also have a jobs listserv, with opportunities ranging from helping out clubs on campus to jobs in the city.

Examples of companies attending include: foursquare, Nodejitsu, SecondMarket, 10gen, and Vimeo. Check out http://adicu.com/jobfair for more info.

RSVP here.

Special thanks to SecondMarket for their support.

UPDATES
1.  Steve Blank Speaks
Thursday, 11/10 12:30-2:00PM in Uris 301
Startups have changed in the near-decade since Silicon Valley 8-time serial entrepreneur-turned-educator Steve Blank wrote the entrepreneurs' Bible, "The Four Steps to the Epiphany."  Startups now embrace lean startup practices to fail fast and figure out how to make what people want.  Over the last two years Steve also developed the Lean LaunchPad class at Stanford and has yet again changed the way entrepreneurship is thought about, taught and done.

2.  TED X Columbia Engineering
Tuesday, 11/29 9AM-5PM in Miller Theater
Columbia University's independently organized TED event - will bring to light ideas worth spreading. A day filled with presentations by some of the foremost minds will seek to spark conversation, thought and productive exchange among bright intellectuals who participate. From organic chemistry to economics, and from engineering to entertainment, the talks will highlight areas that are at the frontiers of innovation today.

Hope to see you at our awesome events this week,
ADI!
