Salut ADI!
AHH, classes start tomorrow! I hope everyone has had safe travels back to Columbia and a productive start to the new year and new semester. While the beginning of any new semester is hectic time, remember to use courses.adicu.com as you finish up registration and keep your classes straight (I’ve certainly walked into the wrong class on the first day . . . ). ADI hopes everyone has a great semester, and a great new year. 1. DevFest
Saturday 1/28, 1pm in Davis Auditorium
DevFest kicks off Saturday, January 28 at 1pm in Davis Auditorium. Register here. Lunch will be provided before we head into a traditional 24-hour hackathon to jumpstart team development. The rest of the week will be filled with workshops and lectures on topics related to development and entrepreneurship. DevFest will culminate in a application showcase Saturday, February 4 at 12pm in Davis Auditorium where teams will have a chance to show off their product to a panel and general audience of representatives from NYC's top Venture Capital firms, hot tech startups, larger companies, and fellow peers.
Currently, we're putting together a collection of workshops, tutorials, and experienced individuals to help those new to application development overcome initial development hurdles. Please email us if you’d like to see a Workshop or Tech Talk about a particular technology or methodology.
