Hello Developers and Small Business Owners,
We are pleased to announce the release of Appleseed Portal Release Candidate 3. We want to get into the habit of releasing every 3 months or when we have reached 30 Agile stories in our public tracker ( https://www.pivotaltracker.com/story/show/10505517).
Our team still does not believe we are at Production Release quality and will continue to work on fine tuning the rainbow pieces still left in Appleseed. Our vision is to make a more stable real world example of Rainbow to compete with the likes of DNN and Umbraco.
That being said, I wanted to review the stories that were resolved before making the release public. Below are the issues that I personally QA'ed and accepted :
fix Authenticated users (Accepted)
(bug) CKEditor loads scripts wrong (Accepted) - Now CkEditor will load Java Script correctly when used as an html editor
(bug)Who's Logged in should match users (Accepted) - A lot of work was done on who's logged in to fix updating issues
Profile Countries start with A (Accepted)
Switch Date of Birth Month/Day (Accepted)
Add Captcha to Registration (Accepted) - Captchas are now placed on registration to prevent fraud
Add Login to the Header (Accepted) - Users can now login with a pop up header instead of going to a login page
(bug)Send Password breaks portal on Corp Black (Accepted) - Sending a password is done more securely now
(chore - spelling) Footer should Be Bottom Pane (Accepted)
(bug)Search Portal crashes portal (Accepted)
Add TinyMCE to editors (Accepted)
Merge William Forney's changes (Accepted) - Will Forney has provided us with several performance enhancements across the board
Add suport for Vietnamese localization (Accepted)
(bug)*Error on install* (Accepted) - We have fixed the web installer when you edit the web.config from the portal itself during install
(bug)Connection was reset error in browser when session expires. (Accepted)
After Registration, Log User In (Accepted) - Users are now automatically logged in after they register on your site
Login to Header on All Themes (Accepted)
Add CodeMirror as another site editor (Accepted)
Replace Plain Text Editor (Accepted) - The plain text editor has been updated with a more friendly editor for end users with code highlighting
Remove Horizontal Scrolling on Login (Accepted)
Remove Default Theme (Accepted)
Show Error if User Email Exists in Current portal (Accepted)
(bug) Apply Changes on Role Causes Error (Accepted)
(bug) Creating a User adds to Logged in (Accepted)
Show Admin in Who's Logged In (Accepted)
Verify Password (Accepted)
