HIMS is adding 4 new applications designed specifically for the BrailleSense 6 notetaker. These apps include the Bible App, a Wiki App, a Document Reader, and a Podcast App.
The Bible App is an optional app that you can download after installing the latest firmware, and includes 5 translations with intuitive and user-friendly commands.
The new Wiki App is built to give you the ability to quickly look up information from either Wikipedia or Wiktionary with intuitive navigation and search features.
The Document Reader is an app built specifically for when you want to read. Open documents in read only mode and read with exceptional levels of navigation and control.
The Podcast App is there when you want to listen to your favorite tech news on the Blind Bargains podcast or if you want to get spooky with Dark House, a true crime podcast.
HIMS is also happy to announce that the BrailleSense 6 now makes face-to-face DeafBlind communication with a sighted peer easier than ever. Using a connected QWERTY keyboard, the sighted colleague can type while BrailleSense 6 user can read in real-time.
