Danks particularly to Claus, I think I've got the right braille table working with my BS 6 paired with my iphone, thanks very much! However, I've obviously enabled some command where when I get out of terminal mode, whenever, I touch the phone I get characters read to me, I'm assuming this is "touch braille", or something similar, I may have the wrong name? How do I get out of this, or stop this please? It's kind of very annoying!!!
Happy New year!!!!

Hello everyone,

Please do not type long message in the subject line. Put short words in the subject that is related to it then explain in the body to avoid confused.

I hope that helps.

Hi,

Those are touch gestures which are the way people who do not use a braille display or a Bluetooth keyboard navigate on our phone. People with vision use slightly different touch gestures than people who use voiceover. There are default gestures when VoiceOver is on or off. They cannot be turned off.

If you are not using your braille display and don't want to listen to the phone, you can either mute speech before you turn your display off press M space or use the touch gesture three finger double tap. Three fingers tapping two times on othe screen toggles speech on or off. HTH,

Amy
