Hi all especially Brain:
I lost the pairing between my i-Phone and Focus 14. I had to use my wife to help me but she’s not very tech literate and has been that way…
The VO was on and when I got to Braille display, it stated that the Bluetooth was not turned on so we tried to get it on to no avail. As per Brain’s suggestion in an earlier email, I went to blue tooth and tried to get it to work…strangely enough I had two choices which were to disconnect or forget the display. We did not do anything.
So, any suggestions?? I am afraid that the Bluetooth of Focus 14 may be broken or something like that
Thanks so much for your help!!!!
Jeff

JEFF,
RICH HERE.
I always have iphone pairing with varioultra 20.
when i turned on iphone woudl not pair vu20. i struggled and
struggled. utnil something popped up in my mind as iu went to
other room and checked chameleon 20 and found it pairing with
iphone unexpectedly. it means chameleon stole pairing for vu20.
darn it as i remember what blind tech teacher said to me how to
have both brialle displays on and switch bakc and forth and turn
off. so when i brought them to vu and turned vu on and leave
alone. then i went to setting and went to vo and went to brialel
and i went down to the bottom and found both chameleon and vu20 .
i clicked vu20 and turned off chameleon and vu20 was happy to be
pairedf.and i put chameleon away as it was turn turned off, but i
don't knwo how chameleon could steal pairing. sigh.
it is tricky.
sincerley,
rich
