crazy situation when trying to type with the BS 6 on iphone on Facebook

I'm trying to write a message on Facebook, using the BS 6 braille display and keyboard and the iphone. I'm propted to type, when I get to that edit field, "create", however, after a letter or 2, different characters are being either displayed and or spoken!! I have no clue how or why? Could it be something with the "typing" mode set? What should it be set to please?

Try setting input and output for braille to the same either uncontracted or probably even better computer braille. If that works work your way from there.
