Hello all,

I just updated IOS 18.2 to my iphone. Ohh I noticed mailbox setting are big different and changed!! It has too many buttons such as primary, transation and selct etc. Is there seeting that I can change it the way I like the old mailbox layout?

Hi Michelle and all,

18.2 changes Mail inbox. Messages are divided into divergent categories - Primary (general), Transactions (shopping), Updates and Promotions (ads). The horizontal menu below Search has a button for each category - so you can’t see all your messages in just one list. It’s like having 4 separate Inbox pages. You can change it so all messages are on one Inbox page. Select the More button (upper right corner) and choose List.

Hello michelle,

i got thie same issues and I e mail to apple because i keep not getting some e mails for a wweek.

Apple told me. I can turn it off.

you go to your e mail app and open one e mail you see the word more on top not bottom.It is on top click on it. You see the word catorgary list or list view. Click list view. It will be like old ways.

i finally got all e mails into one inbox not separation. I finally catuht up myold e mails that I was missing because of separation.

Let me kknow if you got it clear message?

Go to mail app
Go open one e mail you have read go upper says more click on it and go look for list view click on it. Tht is all. It will go back old e mails list

You are very welcome and I hate that too. Also some of my friend who are hering and sight don’t like it either too. It is too much separation einbox. blah blah blah. Gla dyou brought it up and we can help each other.
