Hello

Just wondering if people have seen this and have seen any trace of this rumored build of Mail

Interesting. Think it is real? The fact that the only show a small portion of the message seems slightly suspicious to me.

BTW, anyone know how to become part of the AppleSeed program?

Hi Scott & Scott,

I just got an email from one of my customers who is apparently in that program and did receive the new version of Mail! Will ask him to find out more.

Hi there,

The customer told me that he's been in the AppleSeed program for about five years and that he does not know how people normally join the program, he also did not want to share the files.

But to my surprise the Apple Mail seed is available in the Developer Connection downloads! There are only a few minor changes in method names/signatures/instance variables in IMAP.framework, Mail.app and Mail.framework and the Mail UUID is:

FBE5B158-5602-4A6D-9CC5-8461B9B7054E

Cool, thanks.

First time I have seen an update like that.

Perhaps my eyes (brain?) are failing me, but I cannot find the download. Can you describe where it is on the downloads page or developer site?

(I see Mavericks, Server, Xcode, Mountain Lion, etc.)

Thanks!

Search for "Mail" in the "Additional downloads", here is a direct link:

https://developer.apple.com/downloads/

(You need to be logged in first.)

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I did that. Logged in, when I go to that page, I see things like IOUSBFamilyLog.., Command Line Tools..., etc. If I search for "mail" in Safari (Command-F) I find nothing. If I use the web form search field (upper left) to search for "mail" it narrows the downloads to six items, but none of them look like Mail to me. (They must have "mail" in the meta data.) Confused....

Interesting

On my 10.8 machine it shows up

On my 10.9 machine it is not listed?

When I download it on my 10.8 and airdrop it to my 10.9 (13A598)machine, the installer says the Volume doesn't meet requirements for the update

HMMMMMMMMMM.......

do I need 603?   or has Apple figured out how to blacklist me in particular.

Works on 603. Unfortunately, I do not have the previous builds at hand now.

Here are the relevant class-dumps:

If you do a diff you will see that there just the few changes I have mentined. Most likely nothing to worry about.

On the topic of class-dump scripts

Here is the script I use

This script puts the OS Build number and date at the top of each class dump file (I get confused easily cuz I have a small brain)

classDumpAll.sh

Just updated to 603 -- last time I tried that, it didn't update and then I got "busy"

And the mail update worked this time

* by busy I mean "fricken insane" in around Oct 22 for some reason. :)
