Dear all,
after being able to modify an outgoing email right before it is being sent, I would also like to be able to modify the body of emails that were received by the user and which are already stored in one of the user's mailboxes. Does anybody have experiences in doing so? If yes, I would be more than thankful for a pointer :-)

Best regards,
Fabian

Is there anybody with experience in such an approach? I have access to the corresponding MFLibraryMessage, but I don't see a way to modify header and/or body of the message. Any hints?

Best regards,
Fabian

Dear Fabian,

I don't have any experience with it, but as no one replied earlier: I'd have a look at what Mail does when you use the "Remove attachments" command, that shouldn't be too difficult. AFAICT this is the only case of Mail modifying stored messages.
