Hi,

Is it possible to turn on airplane mode in Android after starting app automation? Also I need access back to the app where I have stopped before.

I have tried it using two different appium drivers. One for app and other for Settings page. First I have started the app, then just launched settings and turned on airplane mode. The app will be automatically getting killed when I am starting the Settings driver. Is there any way to handle this situation?

Thanks in Advance.

You can use driver.toggle_airplane_mode(), or the network connection API (https://github.com/appium/appium/blob/master/docs/en/writing-running-appium/network_connection.md)

Hi Isaac,

I have tried it using the network connection API and I am able to turn on airplane mode. But after turning on the mode, the appium is getting disconnected with device (adb is trying to find device). So I am not able to continue with the app instance.

Thanks
