Testing push notification

Is it possible to check push notifications using appium? I couldn't find information regarding this in the doc. Any pointer or code snippets will be appreciated

Apple doesn't provide any way to test notifications, unfortunately. For Android, see https://github.com/appium/appium/issues/2368
