Is there a way to pause the iOS simulator for tests?

I have a view with a timer, and when the timer runs out the next view is pushed onto the navigation stack automatically.

I want to be able to pause the simulator, while waiting for tests on the view to finish.

I don't think there's any way to pause the simulator.

What do you mean by pause??  Are you asking if you can background/suspend the app?
