Hi All,

I'm using Appium to test webpages in android chrome browser on real devices.

Searching for elements using selenium webdriver commands (python) works fine but there seems to be a problem with webelements coordinates. Location command for a webelement returns always the same coordinates no matter the screen size or portrait/landscape device orientation.

Moreover the returned coordinates do not match with the webelement location on a taken page screenshot. This is causing a problem for me as I'm using the coordinates to highlight the elements on the screenshot in an application.

I'd like to ask, is there a way how to get correct webelements coordinates that match their location on the screenshot?

We just proxy all those commands to Chromedriver, so this'd be a Chromedriver issue.
