sunsetting ios 6.x support

What does everyone think of deprecating ios 6.x support in Appium? It has a very low install base nowadays [1], and we maintain a lot of code separately because of the way Xcode 4.6 did things.

Seems like two new major versions behind is a good time to deprecate a version.

Could we leave hooks, or a custom build, or an optional repo in place, in case if a company really really wants to test on ios6 they could do some work to reintegrate it?

What would be wrong with them simply using the last version of Appium that supports iOS 6.x?
