can i make the appirater open directly to the rating view (or even the write a review page) instead of the app presentation?

Try calling
which will instruct Appirater to always send the user to the app page in the App Store app. That URL is supposed to take you to the review page, but sometimes it only loads the app's page. It's just a bug in the App Store app. Nothing we can do about it.
