'Hide' the MIT blurb in the About This App Dialog

See Taifun's better solution reply below that I was not aware of when posting this.
Just use the block in the blocks editor to assign your about text, end it with "<!--" (without the quotes) and it will remove the default MIT blurb.

If your text is one line long you can add fifteeen '<br>' html tags after your text to force the 'Invented by MIT...' blurb out of view.
If you have more lines, fewer tags will be needed.
The user will be able to scroll down to see the blurb, however.

Just use the block in the blocks editor to assign new about text and it will replace the default MIT blurb.
and: don't forget to add the start of a HTML comment, which is <!--
