The imagesprites and drawn text in this version of Slime Volleyball resize to fit the device (responsive sizing).

So it should run fine on either phones, the emulator or tablets.
I was running it here on the AI emulator with a modified skin.
(press Ctrl+F11 in Windows to toggle the emulator between landscape and portrait orientations)
(Cmd+F11 might work on a Mac)

... and on a 7" tablet...

Works well!

Did anything special have to be done to the image files to allow them to resize?

I applied a percentage multiplier based on either the width or height of the canvas to size the widths and heights of each of the ImageSprites.
If a player width of 200 looked good on my 7" tablet and the tablet canvas width was 1000, then I would use 0.20 as the multiplier (200 is 20% of 1000), for example.
No changes were made to the image files themselves.
Changing the widths and heights of the ImageSprites is all that I did.
