The God of War Ragnarok Muspelheim Seeds are required to get into a fiery realm full of combat challenges. The two halves can be found in the Bay of Bounty, the watery area you cross by boat in the Northeast of Svartalfheim. Finding them both lets you then access Muspelheim, specifically the Crucible, where you can do various God of War Ragnarok trails to earn unique armor and other rewards. If you want to find all the God of War Ragnarok Muspelheim Seed locations then we've got that info laid out for you below.

There are two God of War Ragnarok Muspelheim Seed halves for players to find, both of which are in the Bay of Bounty area to the North of Svartalfheim. You can't just grab then when you want though as they're not that close together, and are separated by story events so you can only really reach them when you're alllowed. You'll need some God of War Ragnarok special equipment for example.

Once you have both Muspelheim Seeds you can reach the Crucible by heading through any Mystic Gateway. Select Muspelheim from the available Realms, and then travel to the Crucible in the northwest corner of the map. This will let you run various gauntlet and earn special rewards by completing a range of combat challenges.

Later you'll also get to other parts of the realm when you reach a specific point in the main campaign, roughly two thirds of the way through the game (if you're wondering how long that is, check out our page on How long is God of War Ragnarok).

Other God of War Ragnarok Realm Seeds are given to the player at key moments in the story, so it's only the Muspelheim seed that are technically optional. Once you've finished the story you'll also receive a bag of seeds that can be used to unlock most of the Mystic Gateways you've missed, letting you get around much quicker and to areas that are otherwise inaccessible. We've got a fairly spoiler heavy God of War Ragnarok ending explainer that covers that and a few other things that happen once the credits roll.

The God of War Ragnarok fast travel system lets you explore the game's many realms, getting new collectibles and taking on ferocious bosses. Unfortunately, it takes a little while to unlock it, and there are some things you'll continue to learn as you play the game. This guide will help skip a little bit of the preamble and get you started now.

As well as going over how fast travel works and how to unlock it, this God of War Ragnarok guide will go over what the Yggdrasil seeds are, how to find them, and how to unlock more fast travel locations. Luckily, it's pretty easy to understand when you have the right information.

If you're looking for even more information on the game as you continue to play, here's whether we think God of War Ragnarok will come to PC and a total rundown of the God of War Ragnarok voice cast. If you want even more, here's confirmation of God of War Ragnarok merch.

Fast travel is something automatically unlocked as you make your way through the God of War Ragnarok. Once you have got through the tutorial of the game, you will be let loose on the rest of the world, and you will find a way to fast travel. If you don't mind spoilers, keep reading, where we'll say exactly what it is.

The fast travel system in God of War Ragnarok is the same as the first game. You can unlock Mystic Gateways as the game progresses, but you are given Yggdrasil seeds - or the seeds of the world tree - to control it this time. You have to unlock new paths as you progress throughout the game, and can even find portions of the seeds throughout the environment. Needless to say, the game really rewards you for exploring.

This being said, you can find parts of them through side quests and extra activities. In the first area, Svartalfheim, you can find part of a Yggdrasil seed near Lynbakr's Island in the Bay of Bounty. This will then challenge you with a new favour to find both parts. Luckily, the majority of exploration you do in regard to the game's fast travel mechanic will be part of the story.

Continue to play the game, and this system will start to make sense. You don't have to fully loot every area before you finish the story in that zone. You can go back via a Mystic Gateway at any point!

Now that you know how the fast travel system works, there's tonnes more to figure out. Here's the game's director talking about Thor. Here's how to level up fast in God of War Ragnarok and a look at how to change the game's difficulty.
