I hope that you had a blessed Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception- after Christmas and Easter it is my favorite feast day!
Friday Evening, Hobbitt II, 6:50pm. This Friday I had proposed seeing the desolation of Smaug (Hobbitt II). Well, the only relatively convenient showing of it not in 3-D will be at the AMC Hoffman in Alexandria on Swamp Fox Rd. The showing is at 6:50pm. Please let me know if you would like to come, and if you would like to meet for dinner beforehand at one of the restaurants that are by the theatre.
Sunday, 6:15pm Avila Society. We will meet in the Church, than go down to the small classroom in Burke Hall. The topic will be the sacrament of confession and I am presenting.
Sunday, 7:30pm St. Gregory guild. We will meet in the rectory and the topic will be confession.
Friday, Dec. 20th Handel's Messiah will be presented at the Kennedy Center. If you would like to go, contact Ken Bowden at kenneth...@gmail.com or through facebook by Thursday! The showing begins at 8pm. Please feel free to contact Ken with any questions.
If you could remember also, please pray for my parents as they leave on Thursday to move to New York. Thank you!
