Dear Friends,
May our Lord bless your Lenten observances with the outpouring of His Spirit as we approach the most solemn time of the year.

I encourage all of you to try to take time to join the church as it commemorates in the Liturgy the Holy Triduum, April 17, 18, & 19.  It is a sacrifice of time to come to these liturgies, but for the place that we live, a sacrifice of time is often a very pleasing sacrifice to the Lord. These most High Holy days will have Liturgical celebrations at the following times:

April 17, Holy Thursday: 10:30am Chrism Mass (limited parking)
April 17, Holy Thursday: 7:30pm Mass of the Lord's Supper followed by the Visitation of Seven Churches to commemorate the seven words of Christ from the Cross.

April 18, Good Friday: 3:00pm Veneration of the Cross
April 18, Good Friday: 7:30pm Stations of the Cross

April 18, Holy Saturday: 8:30pm Easter Vigil.

In addition there will be CONFESSIONS:
Monday            April 7 & 14  at 12:30
Wednesday      April 9 & 16  at 6:30pm-8:00pm
Thursday          April 10        at 7:45pm
Saturday          April 5 & 12  at 4:00pm-5:00pm
Good Friday     April 18        at 1:00pm and 9:15pm
Holy Saturday  April 19        at 11:00am-12:30pm

This is a time of great graces during the Liturgical year when through fasting and through the saving work of Our Lord many blessings are opened to us through the ministry of the church.  Take advantage of these opportunities!  Also, please pray that many will come back to the Church and discover or re-discover the tremendous love that God has for them.

I will send a separate email with the young adult events.

Yours in Christ,
Fr. Weber
