Dear friends,
Praised be Our Lord Jesus Christ who is more than victorious over sin!
Every Thursday we host a Holy Hour from 7:30-8:30pm and confessions are included. Eucharistic adoration is a tremendously beneficial devotion, placing us in contact with the one who is the source of our life. From Him we receive every good gift and through Him we overcome the wiles of teh evil one and the sins that hold us back. Tomorrow the Holy Hour is dedicated to prayer for those who are entering the Church. After the Holy Hour, the Friends of RCIA will meet- a group devoted to praying for the students in RCIA as well as assisting in any way that they may be able to. This is a great service to our community and I hope that some of you will consider getting involved.
Sunday 6:15 the Avila Society (a women's group for spiritual formation) will meet at 6:15 in the Church. Please contact Michele Casey for more details.
Sunday 7:30pm The St. Gregory Guild (a men's group for spiritual formation) will meet at 7:30pm in the rectory, and the topic is faithfulness and perseverance in the spiritual life.
Nov. 23rd from 8:30am - about 2:00pm, some of us will assist in a service project in DC with a group called Simple House. We have two more slots open to assist with their Thanksgiving outreach. Please let me know if you are interested or would like more details.
Let us pray always and not grow weary and work zealously in the vineyard of the Lord.
God bless,
Fr. Weber
