Avila Society, Sunday Feb. 16, 6:15pm in the Church then Burke Hall.
The Avila Society is a women's group for spiritual formation and fellowship. We will study Pius XII's letter to large families that highlights the beauty of God's plan and calls us to respond generously. This is a very important document for everyone as it assists us in countering the predominant culture in which we find ourselves. It is a help to us to put on the mind of Christ and imitate his generosity.
St. Gregory Guild, Sunday Feb. 16, 7:30pm in the Rectory
We will humble our minds by engaging St. Augustine's own struggles in His search for the Truth. We will begin with prayer and confessions will be available as well.
Brunch and Byzantine Art: Sunday, Feb. 23, meet after 11am Mass in parking lot
The National Gallery of Art is hosting a Byzantine exhibit that highlights much of the religious art and icons from the East. We will meet after the 11am Mass before going into the city to the national gallery of art. The exhibit is free although parking will likely cost between 10 and 15 dollars per car.
Bible Study on the book of Daniel: Sun. March 2, 6:15pm in Burke Hall
Need I say more? Perhaps we can go out for a pre-lent beer at the end of the meeting
Morning of Recollection: Sat. March 8, 9:00am Mass - 12:30pm.
Please invite others to our morning of recollection. We will seek to take some quiet time in the Lord, taking rest for our souls as we begin the holy and grace filled season of lent. Please see the attached flyer for more information and please RSVP if you will be coming.
See you there! Gob bless,
Fr. Weber
