Dear Friends,
I hope that everyone is having a fruitful lent and drawing closer to Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit.  Please pay particular attention to the dinner on April 14th.  I hope that many of you can come and please let me know if you are able to help out with the nuts and bolts for the dinner.  It is a way for us to welcome the RCIA students into the church and invite their participation in the community.

Brunch: Sunday March 23rd, following the 11am Mass in the parking lot.

Bible Study: Sunday March 23rd, 6:15pm in Burke Hall.

We will meet in the Cathedral Parking Lot after the 11am Mass before heading out to brunch.  Invite your friends for Mass with our excellent choir followed by great food at Cava Mezze.

Bible Study: Sunday March 23rd, 6:15pm in Burke Hall.
On March 23rd we will gather to continue our study of the book of Daniel.  We will read chapter 6 together and consider the wisdom of the holy prophet.  We will also meet on March 30 at 6:15 to continue with the book of Daniel.

Dinner for RCIA Students: April 14th: 7:15pm, Burke Hall
Each year during lent various groups host dinners for the RCIA students in order to introduce the soon to be Catholics to the parish.  We will be serving pizza and will need some volunteers to help with drinks and salad.  Please let me know if you are willing able to join us for this event and if you are able to assist in bringing some food items.

Canoe Trip: May 10th.  Mass at 8am in the Cathedral
The diocesan canoe trip will launch with Mass from our Cathedral.  After Mass, those who are going will head out to the beautiful Shenandoah valley for the canoe trip.  More information will be forthcoming.  The event is hosted by the Diocese and sponsored by our parish.

May God bless each of you and I hoep to see you soon.

Yours in Christ,
Fr. Weber
