Dear Friends,

Thank you for all who came to the winery trip!  It was good fun and we impressed some of the other patrons by having a bible study at the winery. 

 

This coming Sunday, although liturgically we celebrate the Resurrection, is the Birthday of the Blessed Mother.  On September 8th, the Church will celebrates the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  In honor of Our Lady's birthday, please join us for a celebration of cake and games on Sunday, September 8th, at 6:15pm in Burke Hall at St. Thomas More Cathedral.

"Let us celebrate with joy the birth of the Virgin Mary, of whom was born the Sun of Justice.... Her birth constitutes the hope and the light of salvation for the whole world.... Her image is light for the whole Christian people" (taken from the Liturgy).
