Dear friends,
Please forgive the multiple emails, but I thought it would be best to highlight the Liturgical preparation for Easter.  We have the following events coming up:

Bible Study April 6 & 13 at 6:15pm

Dinner with the RCIA students April 14, 7:10pm

Brunch April 27, following 11am Mass

Canoe Trip, May 10

Bible Study April 6 & 13 at 6:15pm
As we finish Lent, let us hold off on the Gospel of Daniel and focus this coming week on the Gospel from John chapter 11, the raising of Lazarus.  April 13 is Passion Sunday, which is also Palm Sunday, so let us study the Seven Last Words of our Lord that He speaks to us from the Cross.  The Church through the Liturgy directs our hearts to these moments in the scripture, so let us place our full attention on our dearest Lord.

Dinner with the RCIA students April 14, 7:10pm
Please help support and encourage the RCIA students as they approach Easter.  Come to share your faith and get to know those in our midst who are entering into the fullness of our beloved faith.  Please send me an email if you are able to assist by bringing a food item or drinks.  I believe that we can still use some help with salad and drinks.
Brunch April 27, following 11am Mass.
We will meet after the 11am Mass to go out to brunch as a group.  Bring a friend and an appetite as we continue to celebrate teh Octave of Easter.

Canoe Trip, May 10
The diocesan Canoe trip will begin from St. Thomas More Cathedral at 8am with Mass before heading out to the beautiful Shendoah.  Please register at http://arlingtondiocese.org/yamcan14/index.aspx.

Have a blessed Lent,
Fr. Weber
