Young Adults this coming weekend

Dear Friends,

Praised be Jesus Christ who has given His mother to be our mother as well!

 

In the first place, the young adult tab is on the Parish Website, so please check it out!  It is under Ministries and Organizations and then Parish Life.  I would like your feedback please.  Also, those who are on facebook more often than myself, please continue to post things or post some of our events.  It seems to me that the more chatter there is on facebook the better.  An inactive page doesn't look very good. 

 

December 8:

On Sunday there are many things going on at the Church.  11am Mass then Brunch.  We'll meet in the parking lot after the Mass. 

 

The fiesta for Our Lady of Guadalupe will begin around 2:20pm.  It would be great if some of more folks could volunteer to help out. 

 

7:30pm Lessons and Carrols a beautiful way to prepare for Christmas by reflecting on the prophecies concerning the Messiah and lifting our hearts in prayer through beautiful music.

 

10pm-1am Vigil for Life.  We will join pro-lifers across the country for a prayer vigil asking for mercy upon our country to end the scourge of abortion.  

 

Next Friday, the plan is to see the newest installment of the Hobbit sometime in the evening.  Please email me if you are interested and what time you would be available.  I think we should purchase tickets a day ahead of time for the showing. 

 

Let us ever more earnestly devout ourselves to prayer and sacrifice during this advent season that our Lord may always find a warm welcome in our hearts.
