Hello everyone! I’m Beth Andres-Beck; you may know me as Bryn from Prophecy 3. John told me that I was welcome to use this mailing list to send out a shameful plug for our new larp.
I'm now the plot director of Witchwood, a non-profit, community-run, creative-commons-licensed ongoing fantasy game. It is set in Evren, a fresh medieval fantasy world populated with diverse cultures and a whole new universe of lore to explore. We will be running at Camp Lincoln in Kingston, NH, about an hour north of Boston.
Our character creation guide is available at http://www.witchwoodroleplaying.com/witchwood_character_creation.pdf and if you register by this Friday you'll get undirected BGS for the first event. We are spinning up in record time, accepting both new characters and transfers from the previous, now-defunct Legends campaign (email logi...@witchwoodroleplaying.com for details). The goal is to provide some of the diversity and depth of an ongoing campaign right off the bat, but the emphasis will be on the new setting, the cultures of Evren and the challenges of the Witchwood.
