Hi Folks -

We're very short on volunteers for the upcoming Silver Kingdom Rennaisance Faire.
Our use agreement with the camp requires that we help out each year in order to keep our camp prices down.  This in turn allows us to keep our registration fees reasonable for each game.

Please check your calendars and email either us or Harald to let us know if you can help out.
It would be greatly appreciated.

The dates are June 15th & 16th.

Please write to either:
jbeh...@gmail.com

Thanks so much!

Additional good news!
As in previous years, all volunteers will receive game bucks for contributing their time.

Thanks again!

John

Hi, All –

This is being posted with John Behnken’s permission:

My name is Susan Bianculli, and I have been involved with Prophecy, the Zombie LARPs, and the Apocalypse LARPs for many years. I have entered the YA novel I have written, ‘The Mist Gate Crossings: Prisoners of the Keep’, into a national contest sponsored by CBAY Books of Austin, TX. After a period of in-house judging, my manuscript went from 1 of 10 pre-finalists selected, to 1 of 6, to 1 of 3. CBAY Books has now opened this contest to the general public for the final decision. The winner of this contest, the 'Children's Brains Are Yummy' contest, will be published by CBAY Books. The way I can win is if my manuscript gets more votes than the other two entrants.

Please, go to www.cbaybooks.com, click on 'contest finalists', and then click on 'YA Finalists'. On that page you can download and read the first 25% of my entry and the entries of the other 2 contestants. If you don't have an e-reader that lets you read e-books, you can download a free program called FBReader from the internet (I had to do that myself for my home computer!) After reading, I am asking that you vote for me. I hope that winning this contest will help me become a published author of future books.

Thank you for your time in reading this plea, and in voting for me! ;-)

Hopefully,

*Susan
