The next Middlehaven Event "Field of Battle" will be October 18th, 19th and 20th (3 day event).

We are proud that this event will be held at the Dorothy P. Flint 4-H camp (3186 Sound Ave. Riverhead)!!!

"After a year of occupation it seemed that Duke Perin's control of "The Protected Lands" would be absolute. However rebels and insurgents operating from within occupied Southern Fallstav managed to strike many blows against the invading armies. Sensing weakness, and bolstered by an alliance with the Duke of Mergrim, Lord Fallstav has moved his forces to re-take his lost lands. The valiant armies pushed south, stopping to form a battlefront near the village of Silverfern, which has been rendered nearly a ghost town during all the fighting. Here is where they will make their stand, cutting off supplies and support from Perin until the invaders are driven out once and for all! Vita enim Fallstav!!!"

*First part of the Weekend will be a "Training Day" for new recruits and militia arriving in Fenlund. Players Characters will have an opportunity to learn new skills AND allocated Unspent Experience points if they have any. The remainder of the game will occur three weeks later (in game time only, the next morning real time) so that any skills "purchased" on Friday night will be available to your characters on Saturday morning. Additionally, there will be another game "re-set" of used fighting skills, spell points, favor points, etc between Friday night and Saturday morning.

COSTS and EXPENSES:

Food! (Saturday night dinner, Saturdayand Sunday 'continental breakfast' for all players and NPCs):

$10 for the weekend Pre-Reg. $15 at the door.

*Other meals not guaranteed. Bringing snacks/sandwiches is recommended.

NEW PLAYER DISCOUNT: First event, only $20 pre-reg -and $30 at the door

RETURNING PLAYERS: Only $45 pre-reg -and $55 at the door

EMT (with equipment, willing and ready to help): Only $23 pre-reg-and $33 at the door

NPCs for the Weekend (full XP awarded to your character as well): FREE!!!

*****PRE-REGISTRATIONS must be received 10 days before the event, or by MIDNIGHT October 8th.

GAME SCHEDULE:

1. 3pmFriday October 18th NPC arrival and PCs helping with Setup.
2. PLAYER check in will begin at 4pm (on Friday, Oct 18th).
3. New Player Meeting (Mandatory) will start at 6pm.
4. General Player Meeting (also Mandatory)7pm.
5. Game Start at 8pm.
6. and will end on SUNDAY at 12 noon(ish).
7. After that we will "Break Down" (mandatory because we'll need the help) until 3pm
8. Reservations at "J&R's Steakhouse" (very close by) have already been made for after the event!

*HALF PRICE DISCOUNT for Medical Doctors or EMTs who bring their gear still applies and is eagerly appreciated.
