 Alpha Phi Omega – Tau Upsilon Chapter Meeting

April 4, 2017

Call to Order:  1:59pm

         I.            Heather motioned to approve the minutes of the last time, Christian seconds.

Ø  Meeting with section people

·   Beta Theta is willing to send people on occasion

·   Reaching out to the student organization office

·   Grant

Ø  Lots of Webinars – on APO website

Ø  We got the National Bylaws

Ø  Xi Chapter was requesting help for a service event April 7-9^th at camp Klaus

Ø  Facebook message from Beta Theta – inter-chapter newsletter

Ø  The order to wear cords at graduation has been sent in.

III.                 Service VP: Heather

Ø  Humane Society

·   First Saturday of month is Humane Heroes

·   Grant County – fundraising – toy making

Ø  Youth Service Day – April 21-23

Ø  MS Walk April 23^rd (Kalina, Heather might walk)

Ø  Trail clean-up sometime this semester – Maybe April 25^th meeting alternative

Ø  Service Hours:

·   Huganin: Christian 3 hrs

IV.                Membership VP: Heather

V.                  Fellowship VP: Christian

Ø  Need to get working on Alumni Banquet.

·   Invites are out

·   Church is reserved from 3-8.

·   Food? Pulled chicken sandwiches, potatoes in some form (cheesy potato bake), fruit salad of some form (not canned), salad (ranch and Italian dressings)

·   Drinks? Water, coffee, punch (polyjucie potion)

·   Theme:  Harry Potter – Lori has a snitch

1.       Heather has a wall banner thing, a potion set, spiders, skull, trifle bowl, cauldron

5.       Platform poster (April break)

6.       Pictures: pixies,  moving paintings (think of more before (April break)

7.       2 liter labels (April break) – Coke, mountain dew, rootbeer

·   Maybe contact Betsy Hass in the future.

Ø  We got an email saying we do not have enough faculty advisors.
